The Task: 

Novacare is a pharmaceutical company focused on the research, development, and production of  allergy medications for environmental, food, and drug allergies, Novacare leverages cutting-edge science and a patient-centric approach to deliver transformative treatments. Their vision is to become a global leader in allergy medications, offering safe, reliable solutions that enhance the lives of individuals worldwide.

The Outcome: 

A cohesive and visually compelling website for Novacare, featuring a comprehensive Style Guide with a simple logo, cohesive text styles, a harmonious color palette, and consistent button and icon styles.  Research will provide insights into demographics and competitors, informing the design direction.

The Process:

For Novacare, I employed a comprehensive design process that included demographic and competitor research, iterative wireframing and prototyping, and the development of a cohesive 3D illustration style to ensure a patient-friendly and scientifically credible user experience.

Here were some of my key takeaways: 

  •  easy to use interface

  • utilize simple vocabulary when possible

  • incorporate a fun yet professional visual style to appeal to users

  • include larger fonts, clear and easy buttons to accommodate all users

  • utilize video content, infographics, and interactive elements for some educational content

  • include link to healthcare professionals to a separate portal

A main point for users was that they wanted a quick and easy way to find the medication they're looking for. By utilizing a search bar on the home page the user can find what they're looking for immediately, whether it be medication, articles, or questions

I categorized material and used a consistent style for enhancing user experience and ensuring that information is easily accessible and visually coherent. This approach helps users quickly find what they need, creates a unified brand identity.

Category Styling

Using interactive elements on Novacare's website, such as dropdowns for medication directions and hover cards for detailed information, enhances user engagement and makes information easily accessible.

Responsive Design
